Reading your Cockpit
The home screen of HQ: what to do today, and how the business is actually doing.
Today's actions
The top of the Cockpit is a short list of things worth doing today - a proposal to chase, a conversation that has gone quiet, a follow-up nobody answered.
It is built from your pipeline, so it changes as your deals move. It is a list of the next steps you already owe people, not a generic task list.
Your numbers
Underneath is how the business is doing, measured against the targets you set in Goals & Revenue.
| Number | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Leads / month | Whether enough people are entering at the top |
| Conversations / month | Whether leads are turning into real conversations |
| Close rate | Whether those conversations turn into customers |
| Revenue | The result, against your target |
These are your real numbers, from your pipeline. Narrative reads them; it does not invent them.
If it looks empty
A new Cockpit is empty because nothing has happened yet. Add your first leads in Pipeline and set a target in Goals & Revenue, and it fills in.
What to do with it each week
- Open the Cockpit first, before anything else.
- Clear today's actions, or reschedule what you genuinely can't do.
- Check one number against its target - usually conversations, since it is the one you control most directly.
- Pick the three things that would move it, and let the coach hold you to them.
